How do I import a recipe?
Open the app, tap the + icon, and paste the link of a recipe video from TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube. Our AI automatically extracts all ingredients and steps.
Which platforms are supported?
RealRecipe supports TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube videos. More platforms are planned.
Why was my recipe not recognized correctly?
AI extraction works best when the recipe is clearly spoken or displayed in the video. Very short videos or missing information may cause inaccuracies. You can manually edit the recipe after import.
How many recipes can I import for free?
With the free version, you can import 3 recipes. After that, you can upgrade to RealRecipe Pro for unlimited imports.
What is included in RealRecipe Pro?
Pro users get unlimited imports, photo import from cookbooks, access to all platforms, and priority support.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Go to Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions on your iPhone and select RealRecipe to cancel. Your subscription will continue until the end of the current billing period.
Are my recipes stored in the cloud?
No, all your recipes are stored locally on your device. We only store anonymous usage statistics and cached recipe data for performance optimization.
Can I export my recipes?
Yes! Go to Settings > Export My Data to download all your recipes as a JSON file.
Does the app work offline?
Yes, all saved recipes are available offline. You only need an internet connection to import new recipes.
How do I edit a recipe?
Open the recipe and tap the edit icon (pencil). You can adjust the title, ingredients, steps, and all other details.
